She finds it rewarding to watch small changes lead to better wellness in the people she cares for. She believes practicing gratitude and taking time to recognize and appreciate the things one is thankful for can promote physical and mental health. She encourages patients to focus on the positives in their lives\, as well as how healthy habits like whole food\, diets and regular exercise can create lifelong wellness.\n\nIn 2020\, Dr. Hunter earned a secondary board certification in Lifestyle Medicine and enjoys bringing these skills to her patient interactions. Lifestyle Medicine is an evidence-based practice that focuses on making healthy changes in six areas of health to prevent\, treat and reverse chronic disease.
