DESCRIPTION:The Mt. Hood Jazz Festival features performances and masterclasses throughout the 3-day festival that are open to the public with both free and ticketed events. \n\n\n\nThe 2023 festival will welcome 83 high school and middle school jazz ensembles to our campus for a competitive festival experience that allows students to dive into a music environment where they can experience peer and professional performances. Students can choose from 14 masterclasses throughout the weekend as well as 11 professional performances\, resulting in an inspiring event that will fuel their educational pathway forward! Hood Community College community to help with the various aspects of the festival leading up to and during that weekend.
