David's job is one of trailblazing as the industry and brand expands into new states and countries.\n\nPrior to joining Sentia\, David was General Counsel at Cura Cannabis Solutions which recently navigated through its sale for over one billion dollars in May of 2019. He also has a chamber background having been the COO and General Counsel for the Portland Business Alliance. David is overseeing the renovation of an iconic Gresham building that belonged to an iconic Gresham family: the Boyd's facility.\n\n \n\nAs Sentia Wellness' Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel\, David leads Sentia's legal\, compliance\, real estate\, and people and culture teams.  David is focused on keeping Sentia compliant as the brand expands into new states and countries.\n\n \n\nPrior to joining Sentia\, David was Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel at Cura Partners Inc.\, leading the sale of Cura Partners for over one billion dollars in May 2019.  Previously\, he served as the Chief Operations Officer and General Counsel for the Portland Business Alliance and served as a labor and employment lawyer at Bullard Smith Jernstedt Wilson.\n\n \n\nActively involved in the community\, David serves on the Portland Business Alliance Board of Directors and is chair of the Morrison Child and Family Services foundation board. He has served on the Santa Clara University board of regents\, the City Club of Portland board of governors\, the Portland Parks Foundation board\, the Jesuit Volunteer Corps board of directors\, and the Portland/Vancouver Connector Project. He also supports a number of other nonprofits including Black Parent Initiative\, Jesuit High School and St. Francis of Assisi Dining Hall.\n\n \n\nDavid received his Juris Doctorate from Santa Clara University and a Master's in Business Administration from the University of Oregon.\n\n \n\nWhen not at work\, David enjoys time with his friends and family\, listening to music\, traveling\, participating in triathlons\, dancing\, and baking.\n\n\n\nSentia Wellness is the world's largest producer of CBD Nutraceuticals.
