Though not top of mind, a major flood would have catastrophic consequences for our community and the region. New federal standards have spurred the modernization of flood control systems along the Columbia River. Join us to learn about that work and what it will mean for you.

Appearing on behalf of the Multnomah County Drainage District, Jake has spent over 20 years working with Oregon governments and stakeholders on communications, advocacy, and campaigns. Founded in 2020, Praxis offers a personalized approach to public affairs - finding the right approach to fit our clients' needs. A native Oregonian, Jake lives near Mt. Tabor with his wife and two children.
